 In partnership with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), an online conference (Webinar) was organized on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, titled "Genocide in the Middle East viewed through a Gender Lens" in order to address the root causes and consequences of the genocidal violence against women and girls. This conference addressed the root causes and consequences of the genocidal violence against women and girls. The discussion focused on ways to strengthen institutional mechanisms and to empower societies to prevent and combat crimes against women and girls as an effective genocidal tool. The conference aimed to search for avenues of fighting impunity, finding justice, and ensuring rehabilitation and restitution.
