 The AUB Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs (IFI) organized a Paper Discussion on “Security of Oil and Gas Pipelines in the Middle East.” The discussion was held online over Zoom on Thursday, February 17, at 4:00 pm Beirut time.
This webinar discussed Dr. Naji Abi Aad’s analysis recently published by the Issam Fares Institute which looks at the historical trends of the major oil and gas pipelines of the Middle East, and dives into their operational patterns and the reasons behind their continuous shutdowns. It also highlighted the interlinkages between the latter and the political stability of the region.
