THE ISSAM FARES INSTITUTE FOR PUBLIC POLICY AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
In collaboration with The Beirut Urban Lab at the Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and Architecture a two-panel webinar titled “Recovering Amidst Crises, Beirut's Port Blast One Year Later”, was organized on Thursday, August 12, 2021. This event took stock of the multiple efforts that have been deployed in the past year to initiate processes of repair and recovery in response to the damage incurred by the August 4 Beirut blast: actors, sectors and institutions. It outlined current scenarios of recovery and lay out visions for desirable futures.
