THE ISSAM FARES INSTITUTE FOR PUBLIC POLICY AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
The two-day conference was part of a project on Heritage in War funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council in the UK. This project is primarily philosophical in nature, combining the expertise of philosophers working on the ethics of war, value theory and aesthetics. The workshop brought together philosophers, practitioners, and policy-makers, to discuss both theoretical and pragmatic approaches to the value of heritage, and the ways it compares to other values at stake both during and post conflict.
